Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Just as an FYI. We were thinking of going to Bottomless Lakes outside Roswell this weekend. Looks like most state parks now are open, but only Thurs-Sun, 8AM - 5PM. You can thank your state govt for not having resources in place... after being closed for 3 months, and now this. They claim, get...
My roof rack. While it serves/ed its functions well, and it was the only one of its type 3 years ago, it sucks balls from a sound standpoint. There are now 9 different "half racks" available and each seems to ahve addressed the shortcomings of this one. In short, wanted a rack that I could easily...
Snittybilt has a new set as well. Looks a lot more aggressive than the Roto or XBull varieties and fall price wise at $160. Right between MT and XB:

Only issue I have with the Quick Fists is they are exposed to the sun and cold here in West Texas. They last about a year. I wish they had a thicker edge under the tab you grab on top. They crack and die at that smallest/thinnest point.
Rotopax has them now too. Seem to fall looks wise between XBull and Max Trax. Price is $99 introductory going up to $135 or there abouts soon.

Qucik fists for shovels and axes and Stratchits for everything else.
I also made a homemade bracket for my traction mats at about 30% the cost of Max Trax mounts and pins...
I use the JKU KC A pillar brackets for my Go Pro mount. I can reach out while in my seat to turn it off or on and can mount to either driver or passenger side. No magnets or sticky mounts which if they fall, you wont know until youave stopped.
No pics yet. Too busy and too hot!
Installed and re-fabricated some new step rails. The manufacturer simply did not get the welds right in their fixture. Both rails in two different places were off by 3/64". Have a friend who has a friend... at Rev Limit Customs. Brought them in, test fit, cut...
Bummed. Glad I had not booked my rooms for my two week trip. Looking to now either just do a Colorado trip anyway or maybe a New Mexico Backroads (NBR) trip in Oct or Nov?
If you are doing your own lift install, take pics of everything. Its a popular and excellent setup. Others would enjoy hearing your install experience.
Same with Android. Just set up my Samsung Tablet 3 with LTE/GPS and GAIA runs off of it well. It is a smaller 7", but works just fine thus far. Maybe down the road I will upgrade to a 10" Tab, but other wants are mroe important at the moment!
I am switching my AEV 2.5" DS springs for Metalcloak progressive overlanding springs. From what I've read, they are a better fix when the rig is empty vs loaded. I have JKS front sway bar and a Helwig (AEV branded) rear sway bar with AEV tuned Bilstein 5100's.
I have a 2017 JKU with a roof...
I agree. But getting them to commit to doing something about it just has never happened. They pay guest DJ's to come in, month long channels like Prince, and Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel, give carte blanche to the news channels, traffic in large urban areas, but cant upgrade software? They...
I have lifetime Sirius and have become disenfranchised of it. Howard Stern has become his mother. The crew who works for him are whining liberal NY'ers, disconnected from the rest of the world. I listened less and less over the past two years, now I no longer have his stations on preset. He does...
