Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I'm starting to develop the same habit. I bought shoes for work that are resoleable, as well as new hiking boots from Danner that can be recrafted. Buy once and cry once. Took me a while to learn this, but now I'm definitely sticking to it.
Well this is starting to come up quickly. Have places reserved, and some trails to check out thanks to @Daniel Etter. Any other must sees while we're out there? We lucked out and the time we're going it's the Buffalo Round Up so we're pretty excited to check that out. Anyone ever been to it...
I wear shorts whenever possible, and in the winter when that's not possible here I've started wearing 5.11 pants. I absolutely hate jeans. I've got a couple pairs of 5.11 pants and like them. I haven't liked how the pants leg tapers at the ankle because of the shoes I wore, but now that I've got...
Glad I found this thread. My emblem is in bad shape from the salt this winter. Going to try to clean it up with some baking soda and water and see what happens.

But I still say...
I know what you're saying, however choosing one to compare to that already has a lift and everything isn't quite comparable. The MSRP on my JKU was around $42k.
They're charging a premium for that thing. I just went and built a Rubicon Recon (highest starting MSRP) and added every single option available and I only got it to $51,425.
Edit: It already has a lift, wheels, tires, and bumpers.
I did not get the G-screen at this time. I may think about getting it later though since it seems to be pretty handy. I was already stretching my budget with the batteries and kit.
I'm not a fan of the ones that go through the hard top. They are streamlined and look nice, but I like to run a...
