Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Back by popular demand. Hopefully, no new pandemics or other natural catastrophes get in the way. And let's hope we can do this more than once a year.

I was thinking that might be our best bet to meet-up, wether it's a day trip, or overnight trip. Right now everything is closed for meet-ups in Sonoma County.
I had to take a look. That Wagoneer looks terrible and nothing like the old ones. Boring is an understatement. I liked those older, wood paneled Wagoneers with sharp edges. Had always wanted one when I graduated from college, but was always too broke.
I’ll didn’t make it there this year but went up there a couple of years ago. That’s a really cool place.
I ended up doing a loop similar to what @PapaDave posted for the Bodie trip earlier this summer.
Sounds like a complete success to me. I took my new gladiator out after having it a couple of months. My first brand new truck. LIke you, decided to explore, the trail narrowed and bushes are all burnt from past fires and do not bend when passing by. Those first few feet I had a slight grimace...
Knoxville OHV just north of Berryessa. Or head up the 505 to the 20 to Bear Valley Rd, or Walker Ridge Rd and hit the lower Mendocino NF/Snow Mountain Wilderness NM.
I have an older Schrade Uncle Henry Hunter blade that I found in my dad's stuff when he passed away several years ago. I didn't know he even had something like this, as he wasn't really an "outdoors" kinda guy, although he did work at Yosemite as a teen and spent lots of time in the jungle while...
I'm thinking of doing a 2-3 day solo trip in the Eastern Sierras at the end of August. I'm meeting my cousin in Mammoth Lakes for a day or two before heading out, or I might meet them after. Either way, any suggestions? I'm wanting to check-out Bodie, but also open to other places.
Just picked up today the Badlands Apex 12000 winch w/20% off coupon. Next purchase will be a mount for it so I can put it in my JT OEM steel bumper. Next paycheck.
I have mixed feelings about them. My rack fortunately is holding up great, but when I asked about accessories to mount to it, the email I got from Chad was along the lines of “try a hardware store”.
I'm hoping to have another meet-up some time in August. With the recent local spike in Covid, it might be best to put another meet-up off till then. I don't think having a group of 30+ people, mostly strangers, all gathering in one place is a good idea at the moment.
