Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I have one that I use to store my 10" dutch oven. They have a little padding around the sides to keep it from knocking about, and a little pocket under the lid. It's pretty well made and does the job just fine. It's held up after about a year of use. I got my from Sportsman's Warehouse.
I would also say the same thing about Yosemite. It's essentially a small city in the valley. I encourage folks to instead visit Sequoia or Kings Canyon if your that close. I went to Yosemite last summer when they were limiting visitors and it was one of the best times I had been there in a long...
A couple of suggestions to check out or consider. You might want to check out Usal Beach as a dispersed camping spot if you're coming down the 1 along northern California. Usal Rd is right off the 1. Just don't camp directly on the beach, but you can get pretty darn close. It's a dirt road in...
Also thanks for indulging me and doing a bit of “epic” exploring. About a 60 mile loop with a fair amount of ruts, water bars, +25* pitches going up, and going down, and of course water crossings.
Thanks everyone for coming out. Our next “meet-up” will be trip next month. Stayed tuned for details. That said one weekend I was considering happens to fall on Father’s Day. I’m guessing that would tough for most? Let me know and I’ll pick a different weekend. Maybe the one before that.
I think this is my new favorite. It’s different but in a good way. It’s got the sweetness of bourbon, but the spiciness of a straight rye. Like the best of both worlds. And at $35 a bottle, a good value for sure.
I found they carry their offerings at BevMo. I picked up a bottle of their Lost Monarch, which is a blend of Rye and Bourbon. Sounded interesting and got good reviews. I haven't tried it yet. Maybe tonight.
I live where this is bottled and had never heard of it. Will definitely look for it. Another local distillery, Spirit Works Distillery, makes a pretty good bourbon that I’ve been sipping lately.
