Fair enough. Before I commit, could you tell me how far the awning sits off the rack with these brackets? I have some lights mounted and I want to make sure the awning will clear them

Hello everyone, This might be a long shot but I'm looking to try before I buy (more for the purpose of convincing my wife) a roof top tent. I've got a weekend camping trip planned two weeks from now (11/7) and was wondering if anyone in the Raleigh, NC area would be willing to let me borrow...

Just booked site 9. Pumped to get back out there. I’ll most likely be arriving pretty late Friday as it’s a 5+ hour trek for me.

Its a trail on my bucket list so I hope its not closed. Probably wont be able to make it out this spring however.

Been swamped with work and personal stuff lately. Ill follow the tread and will hopefully be able to make it out. Pretty much got all my vacation days called for for the year already though. Most likely wont be able to do any multi-day trips.

Oh I fully agree with that. I'm just not a huge beach person, so even under the best conditions I'm pretty over sand by the second day haha. But if you guys are going to be there I will for sure come put the tires on some sand.

I would very much like another attempt at camping on the outer banks. Not sure I would do the whole thing, but I would love to come down for a night or two.

This is genius. Our house is currently be built so I’m not sure if the garage door height will be tall enough for driving in and out with a tent mounted. HOA wouldn’t let us have a taller garage door than anyone else. If not I’m totally using this idea, so simple and easy. Bravo
