Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I feel you! My frontier on 265 MTs and a PML has been REALLY impressive and capable. If I had to remove the front dif I would do the drop bushings to relieve the angle on the axles from the PML
I totally understand lol. That is a project and even little things take me forever to do. Like my leaking sunroof seal on my frontier which would take 100$ and 1 hour to do…is instead just covered with duct tape probably until the return of Jesus lol.
You may want to consider the offset bushings...
We usually spend one night at a time in camp so we thought a drawer setup would be more convenient for quick setup and tear down.
But I find a lot of pleasure in experimenting with stuff.
If we used the xterra as our adventure vehicle we would probably do something like a bed/drawer platform
Good afternoon!
For my wife’s first trip we went to the NJ pine barrens. It took us a very scenic 2 hours to get there.
You may want to consider trying out the sites by Godfrey or Hawkin bridge. We stayed one night at Wading Pines. I normally would NOT recommend camping here. The sites are...
Amen. We actually had a bit more elaborate drawer setup until this spring, but it was a lot of weight and took up a lot of space in a non dedicated rig.
The wife and I talked about it and said “Michael and Corrie use a bin system, let’s give that a try for now”.
You know, after we took out...
Our very “fancy” kitchen setup. Under the tailgate is our camping bin with out collapsible sink/cutting board on top. Goal is to eventually get a swing out to put the grill on carrier and a fridge with a slide
I like our “dining room” and just I’d share that as well
Welcome fellow Xterra owner!
These things are awesome, both of mine have about 170k and are bulletproof… but I get 13mpg…
I don’t have a fancy build thread, but I have a water drip coming from the sagging headliner where it meets the windshield… and a water sloshing sound up on the roof for...
North of Six Flags I would say you should be ok in most vehicles with some traction boards and the ability to air up/down your tires. The airing up/down is probably not exactly necessary if you have traction boards.
I would say once you get to Six Flags airing down is a great idea. If you take...
The bed size is the same as my frontier. I started losing interest at unibody and AWD lol
But I think a lot of suburban and urban dwellers would love it.
As far as the the American appreciation of the pickup truck: you can do so much with a pick up. I have both an suv (Xterra) and a pickup...
I’m not to far from West Point (I’m in Fort Lee). That’s a real nice area and there’s a pretty good number of OB members around there. I think they have a monthly meetup near Yonkers
