Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I've had 3. An '84 Cherokee I bought in '95. I traded that for the '91 YJ in 2000, which I still own, and hope to do big changes to someday. And my most recent addition is the '06 TJ Rubicon, which I am currently outfitting for more of an overland vehicle.
Those first scratches are the worst. Especially on a new truck. Don't let this experience discourage you though. In my opinion, the views you see are worth them. Depending on the trails you ride, unless you are out on a prairie or in the desert, which even then... scratches are going to occur...
We've all been there. Better safe than sorry, especially if you're out by yourself. In this game, half the fun is getting out to far away places. The other half is making sure we get back.
