    Resolved Problem with signature

Some time ago the forum changed something to do with signatures and their content. For several years I had a pix of my rig in my signature. It was small and not over obtrusive. I also had a link for both my Offroad teardrop build thread and my Vehicle build thread. It seems I can no longer...

    Cell Phone Booster

Signal booster not only boost the transmit power but have a lower signal to noise ratio (expensive parts) that allow a weaker signal to be received.

Toquerville falls, Utah over Memorial Day?

Heading down from SLC/Park City Utah and thinking about hitting SW Utah over the three day weekend. Want to take a bunch of pix and unwind. Want to explore this corner of the US since it is one of the few areas I haven't visited much other than to blast through on the Interstate. Anybody want...

    Utah Traverse

Thinking of heading somewhere in southern Utah over memorial day. I am currently in Park City. Just need to get away. Want to take some time and unwind and take some pix. Thought about St. George. I saw pix of a cool wide cascade water fall somewhere near there I wanted to take a pix of my...

SOLD Overland Expo West Tickets and Campsite

That is pretty crappy that they do not offer a refund. I guess that pretty much slams the door on me ever attending one of their over priced events.

Add an “Oil-Bypass Filter” to your Cummins, etc. Diesel to Prolong Engine life

If you install the system yourself and drill or tap the intake or use a filler cap, make sure the return is not directly over a valve. Valve seals are meant to keep out mist and splash. You can end up sucking oil past the seal if it runs directly on it. It took me years to find out why on the...

Add an “Oil-Bypass Filter” to your Cummins, etc. Diesel to Prolong Engine life

I uses a simple brass street tee between the oil pressure sender and the block to get the oil. My valve cover is cast aluminum so I drilled and tapped a hole and just feed the oil back into the valve cover. Just for reference for those who do not know, the Frantz oil filter has been around for...

    Overlanding with Diabetes

I was looking at under $100 depending on the volume/demand. Mine is a ton simpler (aka idiot proof). It has a very low power flashing green light if it is within an acceptable preset range. It flashes red if it is out of range. It holds several vials, your meter, your lancets/piercer, and...

    Overlanding with Diabetes

Being an engineer, I designed a handy little snap lid insulated box with a Peltier junction, heat sink, and some control electronics. It keeps my insulin within the prescribed temp range. It cools if it is hot out or heats if it is cold. It plugs into a cigarette lighter. I have toyed with...
