What is the best thing you bought for Overlanding?

My wife would say the lightspeed oversized multipurpose pop up. Quick easy setup and take down. It’s one of the better solutions for a freestanding pop up I’ve found at a reasonable price.

Glacier, Yellowstone, Grand Teton trip planning

We have been fishing Henry’s Lake and surrounding areas for generations. I’d recommend to take the drive to Hidden Lake, excellent fishing very peaceful. If your up for a hike, pack your rod and walk to the backside and you’ll find a couple ponds first one is goose and the second one is otter...

    Dry food storage

Husky makes red weatherproof storage tubs in various sizes. They have a nice seal around the lid and are great, keep moisture and dust out for a reasonable price. Check the out at Home Depot

Specialty coffee setups (ultra coffee snobbery)

It’s not the greatest option but if you use K-cups regularly at home, Presto has the MYJO. It’s a single serve 10oz, very inexpensive so definitely worth a shot. We boil water on stove and make a few cups very quick. Although not jet boil quick at least this method gives us options seeing how my...

They made some improvements on the latest years biggest being 8 speed transmission with transfer ratios have improved as well but like you said it is big and it does require a lot more thought to navigate “Jeep” trails.

Looking for advice on snatch block purchase

I like those and a few people have recommend them, I’m intrigued by the rings especially the factor 55. I’m probably just going to end up buying both block and ring. Thank you for your input.

Very true, the wagon doesn’t float over anything. I do have to admit I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the overall performance off-roading, just adapting and using the weight to your advantage when you can. What year wagon did you have?

I love using my recovery gear and do so any chance I can. We ran into a similar situation New Year’s Day over Carson pass, I don’t get surprised anymore.
