Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
My xterra was Betsy, because she was kind of bulky, very strong, dependable and kind of sweet, like a cow.(I grew up around dairy cattle) I don't have a name for my jeep yet. I haven't spent enough time with her yet.
Jeeps are no more susceptible to death wobble than any other vehicle. Death wobble is caused by modifying vehicles improperly. It just seems that more people push it too far with Jeeps.
I was able to fit, spot weld, remove and stray welding solid the other half of the bumper. This pretty much completes the build as per the instructions. From here on its all my own ideas and fabrication skills. I need to add recovery points, fog light housings, bracing, some aesthetic changes...

That would be a step in the right direction! The 5.6 makes a ton of power, but it has some reliability issues. I loved a lot of things about my Xterra, I'd seriously consider going to back to a Nissan if they were selling the Patrol.
