Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Right now I am simply using Google maps on my cell phone but as we all know that's not really reliable for off road travel. That being said, I am buying myself the dual bluetooth gps locator and a ram tablet mount to mount my 7" android tablet in my truck, and I'll load an off road gps program...
Oh yes.. I believe it. I have priced my same basic configuration on my ram out today and it's nearly $60k.. I just don't understand the massive inlation in vehicle prices when I haven't seen a massive inlayion in my paycheck...
As much as I appreciate the xj... I'm gonna throw another one into the mix... A 2nd gen mitsubishi montero. They are inexpemsive, can be had with diff lock, and reliable.. My in-laws have a 1994 monetero they bought in 1996 that they use for their winter vehicle, and I keep telling them to sell...
Just a couple photos from last weekend. Met up with a couple buddies and went out to the south side of Joshua tree national park. Camped on some blm land away from everyone...
Edit.. The title was supposed to be "blm land" but autocorrect struck again.
Yes, my daughter is wearing a dress...
great video! All good points. You can overland in anything you have. Hack I know a guy who routinely travels to the depths of the washes of Baja in a Honda civic... Its all about what you make it.
