    Correct. I learned that the hard way with my iPad. I have to tether it to my iPhone to get it to work. I don't know if some of the older iPads had built in GPS's or not. I worded it the way I did, not knowing what model you had. :)

    Not to step on @stainlessdoctor ... It looks like a Ram Mount, and "Gaia GPS". Not all iPad's have GPS chips in them. You may have to tether it to your iPhone to get it to work if your iPad doesn't have a cellular card in it.
