Chrome vs. Safari

Within the last couple days, it seems that when I come to the site using Google Chrome, the site seems to hang, and animation over the alerts box doesn't go away.

If I switch to Safari, the problem doesn't seem to happen.

MacOS Version: 10.12
Chrome Version: 64.0.2840.71 (64-bit)
Safari Version 10.0

I also received a web page not responding pop up, but I wasn't quick enough to get a picture before it went away.

I've been getting the "web page not responding" a lot lately, too. Seems to be mostly in the evening, which may have to do with a busy server? I also see the animation over the alert staying on much longer than usual, too.

OK you guys - thank you for the feedback. I'll contact the host to see if they are seeing server load issues in the evenings.

Hadn't happened to me since posting the above.

When I saw replies to this thread, I came back to Chrome. It seems to be working fine now.

I use firefox and have never had any issues

I'll try it on out my linux machine & see what happens

I bet its a plugin
