Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Only if that whack-job currently squatting at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, DC gave me the pallets of cash he gave the Taliban so I could afford to fuel it...
Now I'm wondering if the US Military would "give" me a tank to use as an off-road vehicle? They seem to be Ok leaving them laying around in Afghanistan... just sayin
That's where I would go as well. I have a Camp Chef Dutch Oven table that has legs that can be removed. I believe you can buy replacement legs as well. I'd weld a round piece of tube sized to fit the legs onto the under-side of the four corners of the hitch shelf then just plug the legs into...
The great thing about this forum is the diversity of interests. Folks can lurk, troubleshoot, get informed opinions on so many aspects of off-roading, vehicle camping (Overlanding), and equipment that works well for your purposes, etc. For me personally, I like to see what folks are doing...
I have not seen that config...yet. I have mine opening off the back, which is less common than opening off the side. I imagine with the right contractor rack, that has the over-cab section, it could work, depending on the cross-braces- unless you can fab it to work... I look forward to the pics.

So I made a couple videos, one is 2 minutes, one is 8 minutes, both are too large to upload here, I will work on it tho.
Testing the heater with the silicone flex ducting was a success. The heater came with two short aluminum duct pieces about a foot long each. I used one of these pieces to...
while my first hand experience is limited to two weeks, if you search “diesel heater Facebook” that is forum with a LOT of reviews, data, mods, etc. I’ve been plucking away there trying to find out real world experiences. Gotta say, it may not be German made, but they seem to be pretty...
Ok, so there is a slight learning curve to these Chinese diesel heaters. Mostly learning to use the controller. The chinglish manual they come with is almost useless and hard to understand, unless you are bi-lingual and read Chinese. Fortunately there are YouTube’s and a great Facebook forum...
Great advice, they got me squared away in no time. My learning curve centered on two things: use a good battery source and don’t manually prime the fuel line if the controller will do it for you. Cheers!
Greetings Programs,
Does anyone have hands on experience with the Chinese diesel heaters? Specifically troubleshooting the controller?
The one I bought seems to want to stay in a shut down cycle. It won’t stay running beyond about 10 seconds. The manual isnt helpful and none of the vids...
