    You didn’t use the provided guy lines to tie the walls out? I have had my T4 Plus out in 60mph winds with gusts close to 100mph and never had the tent walls collapse…. But then I guy everything out super tight.

    Another bit of APRS… you can send/receive text SMS messages to other operators as well as with people within your talk group. @Prerunner1982 did a great write up on how to SMS via APRS. A PLB won’t keep the old ladies from worrying about you when you go off grid for more than 24 hours. ask...

    When importing a trail for your own use (private), just type some random stuff in the descriptions. You will have the ability to go back and edit later if/when you make the track public. As for the review part… private tracks don’t go in for review. I can only review public tracks and POIs.
