My compressor clutch went out last fall. I unplugged it for the winter, but I need to get it looked at and make sure the compressor didn't take out the clutch. Need to get it done before summer shows up in force. But I do enjoy driving around with the windows down and the sun roof open!
I remember when I first tried to shift my GC into 4L, the shifter moved with no effort. I crawled under and found the linkage off of the shift lever. I hooked it up and thought everything was OK until I tried to climb out of the creek behind my house. Still no front axle. Jacked up one side...
Used to be you could pick them up, ready to roll for $500-$1000. Now they are becoming harder to find and the price is going up. I still hope to find one at a local auction or tangled up in the weeds behind some farmer's barn... I am looking at other options...
