Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I didn't take any pictures, but yesterday I upgraded all four wheels to Powerstop brakes. Big improvement over factory Teves. Then I drove it up to Sparta for the Xfinity Race.
While I understand the sentiment, these coins aren't free to make or ship. Maybe a list could be put together for a coin donation setup at the store, where members can purchase coins for deployed members. Something like that. We need to keep the costs for members low and voluntary.
Thanks...
I will be leaving from south central Kentucky Friday morning, probably between 7 and 8am. Should be about three hours to Asheville, maybe 1/2 hour to get checked in. I may stop at the KOA in Candler an check in first.
Hope to catch ya'll there. I'll be wearing a OB shirt and hat.
The instructions on my SMITTYBILT included this step. I used a tree in my pasture and winched on a medium upgrade. Worked great and I was able to walk in front of the rig and help guide the first 50 feet.
Yup, I will be viewing in SE Tennessee. The path is supposed to be very close to my oldest daughter's location. Gonna go down and camp out a few days. Maybe find some trails to run.
WoW!!! I am so bummed that I missed this trip. On the plus side, I am so glad that I didn't slow ya'll down. I have had new problem every day. I have solved each problem as it came up, but some required parts that would not have been available on the trail. I didn't push it like I usually...
It was definitely that. Winch pulled it out of the deep water (about 4' deep) so that I could get the wife close enough to jump start it. Her WJ is entirely stock, no lift, stock tires. Wednesday, I opened up the center console and found that it was still full of water!!!
Surprisingly, for...
I paid $450 for mine in May, installed it in June, ran it underwater for the first time last Sunday. Worked great till I ran out of battery (engine was stalled due to waterlogged electronics). Then it blew the little fuse in the control box (which also started out underwater, but was above...
I did get it on dashcam. I had a toolbox sitting in back, just inside the hatch. When I opened it up to get some tools, it was full of water. Lid opening was about 6-8 inches above the top of my bumper (looks similar to yours). Emptying out everything right now. Still had it packed from the...
Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it. I just got the Jeep running again today, but I still have numerous electrical issues (mainly a CCD bus communication problem) that I will have to figure out. No gauges, no windows, rear wiper runs continuously, audio amp seems kaput. My center...
I just got back from flooding my WJ in the creek behind my house. I decided to go exploring further downstream than I have ever gone and found a good deep hole that I managed to sink her in. After walking back to the house (soaking wet from falling in the creek) got the wife to come down with...
Unfortunately, I have only Saturday available. I can join the group Saturday morning at Indian Creek. I can then go the whole day. If that is unacceptable then I wish you well on your journey and will try to catch the arches on another trip. Be well.
I had the same thing happen with the "Smittybilt" sticker that came with my winch. Unfortunately it was not recoverable. The weird thing was that I was more worried about the crease in the sticker because some had folded it before putting it in the box.
Dang it! I just checked with the XYL and I may be obligated that weekend (currently obligated through Overland Expo East weekend). I gotta see if I can get out of it. This is only two hours from the house and I have been planning a trip to check out the natural arches for some time. This...
