Membership Dues? Keeping Overland Bound Going

    Hey Craig....is this enough?

question on 80 series rear shocks / springs

Curious to know what you ended up with. I'm at a 3" lift, running OME shocks & dampner, and heavy springs in both the front and back. I wish they made an Ex-Heavy spring as I still sag a little. My fully laden weight is just shy of 8,000 lbs without a trailer. I'm loaded with drawers...

Membership Dues? Keeping Overland Bound Going

Love it....but really? How can you guys do this without dues? Recurring revenue is the way of the future. You'll renew every member.....as long as you keep the dues equal to perceived value. Business is business and I my input would be....fair renewal fees!! I want this community to be...

What a project and vision you’ve had for this resurrection! It’s coming together. Can’t wait to see it someday out on the trail! Good job [emoji1360].....correction.....GREAT JOB!

Membership Dues? Keeping Overland Bound Going

Hi Michael and Corrie.....we had a bunch of credit card fraud this year and had to change the cards out several times over. I wanted to make sure my membership was still active and that any dues I may owe are paid. Can you tell me if I’m current?

    Land Rover Series

Love it! Can’t wait to see what you do with it. Diesel for this almost seems necessary. How cool will that be?

Don't Talk About It, Be About it - Trail Guardian

To all those who “Get out and do it”: I really like the message being stated here. It’s just so darn simple and easy for everyone in our community to do. What I find rewarding when we’re out on the trail, in the beach, hiking in nature, or pulling off the road in my daily driver just to take a...

    “Stinky” the 1997 FZJ80 build

Found out from the motorcycle dealer I put the deposit down on the KTM 790 Adventure R, that I won’t see one until 2020 sometime. So, I took my name off of the list and pulled the trigger on a new KTM 500 EXC and had it customized to fit me. Baja Designs Squadron Pro head light! Since the truck...

    “Stinky” the 1997 FZJ80 build

You bet Vance....I’m really fond of the 97 Landcruiser. Wanted one for years and it wasn’t until I got cancer that kicked some sense in me to go ahead and pull the trigger. I’m really glad I did. The 4Runners are awesome. I like the 99 also. The body style during those years is so much more...

    “Stinky” the 1997 FZJ80 build

A couple of shots in the middle of Wherethehellami Arizona! 12 days by myself totally off the grid. Pure heaven!

    “Stinky” the 1997 FZJ80 build

I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Greg who installed my lighting. He did a phenomenal job designing, routing, installing the lights for me. My Bantam couldn’t really handle the amount of lighting we installed, and therefore opted to change over to SwithPro’s simpler switch system. It works...

    Alaskan Trooper build

Nice job on your Trooper. I had a 1991 and loved it. A sad day when I sold it. Not quite sure why Isuzu stopped making them. They’re great rigs! Keep on building. Can’t wait to see how it comes out in the end.

    Patriot Campers

I also saw the YouTube videos and then the live versions at Overland Expo West 2018 and I was very impressed. Had I not already invested a ton of money in my roof rack, lighting, and RTT, I may have gone down that path. Just bought a KTM 790 Adventure R for exploration once we get to camp, and...

Overland Expo West 2019 - Who is going and where are you coming from?

We’ll leave our home in Laguna Beach, California early Thursday morning. Would love to connect with our OB Community there. This is our second time going and I am looking forward to learning more about this crazy life passion that keeps happily draining my wallet!

    “Stinky” the 1997 FZJ80 build

Oh...forgot to mention, taking delivery of the KTM 790 Adventure R next month to drag behind my rig to explore the area around various base camps. Having a trailer built, with matching 35’s to tow the new mini-rig behind the big rig! Should be a pretty sick setup.

    “Stinky” the 1997 FZJ80 build

Christmas in April!! 3 weeks until install will be complete. I think I underestimated the magnitude of this project. Lots and lots of wire! I’ll post pics when the fun begins. I think I got pretty much got everything Baja Designs makes! Can’t wait to see these light the way!!! I’ll hope to have...

Distance between home and the start of a trail

For us, it takes a good 2 hours without traffic to get to trails worthy of exploring. There are many options at that distance which keeps thing interesting.
