Who said Geico won't cover it? I took a 2016 Camry off-road (long story). I ended up denting the oil pan and bending the oil pick-up line. Plus extensive body damage. I was out in the boonies of Arizona with no cell service and no traffic. I had no choice but drive it to the nearest town with...
I've camped out in probably every scenario. From a blanket beside the fire to a 36' travel trailer. My current setup is a Toyota Tacoma short bed with RTT. It's better and more convenient than a ground tent but if I had it to do over, I would have bought a Toyota 4 Runner and converted to a...
From what I've read there's not really much to worry about with these guns. The black powder or equivalents don't have the pressure that modern smokeless powders do. Even if you have more than one chamber go off it doesn't hurt anything. As long as you're holding it right. The soft lead balls...
My rig is my DD but I have it easier than most.
1. I'm retired so don't have to worry about getting to work if I break something. I could be gone for a month before anyone noticed.
2. I live in NM where we have nothing BUT wide open spaces. It's never a problem getting around.
I do get a lot...
Blind Spot Monitor - It makes a light go on in your side mirrors if someone is in your blind spot. It's a hassle for steel bumpers because it won't work through steel.
I have a C4 rear bumper. They've discontinued this model because the BSM was causing problems. I drove 40 years without BSM so I didn't care. The quality and overall build is top of the line. No complaints at all.
2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road
1. Solid reputation
2. Looks great
3. Off-roading beast
4. Great selection of aftermarket add-ons
5. More nimble than a full-size truck
Nice Rubicon. Those pictures remind me of when I was driving for CFI many moons ago. Which actually stood for "Contract Freighters Inc." But our Canadian counterparts said it stood for "Canadian Freight Interceptors". I'm sorry guys. I just went where I was sent. But for a few years I was stuck...
“Listen, Bob. A gun is just a tool. No better and no worse than any other tool. A shovel or an axe or a saddle or a stove or anything. Think of it always that way. A gun is as good, and as bad as the man who carries it. Remember that.” - Shane
One of my all-time favorite movie quotes that...
My Tacoma has a windshield GoPro mount from the factory. And I have a GoPro. I've never mounted it there. I don't know why. Something to contemplate on I guess. I have duct taped it underneath the truck and bluetoothed to my ipad because I was in some serious rocks without a spotter.
