I have to agree with the MSR Pocket Rocket and Jet Boil. I have to add my favorite bag for the trip, the Doppelduffel Adventure bag from Maxpedition. It is small enough to pack, but big enough to carry 10 day worth of warm clothes.

Its held up very well. As for the battery, I get a full two weeks before it beeps at me to get charged. That two weeks is without it being Bluetooth synched to my phone.

Great review. I have both in comparable sizes and though I like the construction of the Rubbermaid, the Plano beats it in, like you mentioned, storage capacity. I wish we could get a hybrid of both to make the perfect container to tie down and explore.

I have the same non alpha version. It's a great watch for those who travel. I go back and forth from east coast to west coast and it comes into play daily. I also attached a small compass on the watch band.
