I say nay to the roof top tent. My sign picture shows the second trailer I have built with a roof top tent. I have spent many nights in it, some large wind storms. I will say they are comfortable and nice to have however, thats where it ends. For me a ground tent is faster, easier to setup, and...
So in an attempt to make my rig lighter and more accessible I removed the bulky the massive swing away tire gate. This allowed me quick access to the back of my jeep like it was stock again, a huge improvement. However, one issue this modification caused was the ability to add a roof rack to my...
I bought a used Garvin Industries roof rack, rebuilt it and painted it, than created a custom mounting solution to work with my MORryde tire gate. Oh and added some light I had laying around.
Yea I am just not impressed with the service anymore.
I did indicate the the failed parts where of my own doing. However, I will say that the used warn cable I have is far superior in quality.
It wasn’t that the parts failed that was my issue. It was the customer service and the fact that...
Yes! Not only is it softer, it’s also adjustable with the ability to adjust it to near stock resistance if that is needed.
The whole design is great!
I ran with no swaybar on an old tundra with king coil overs that I owned and this jeep for sometime haha!
I ran with no swaybar for years...
Provides loads of suspension articulation, and tunes the front and rear axles to work together. The result is a smoother more capable rig that is very stable off road and on road.
Hello everyone!
I had issues with my Superwinch recently. My issue was partly my fault but also partly the product too. Normally I would have done this kind of video, but I feel as a community that spends a lot of hard earned money on these products that people should be warned about what’s...
I did the same for a while. I would highly recommend the Antirock. It’s a totally different would having that extra stability. I know exactly where your coming from.
Hello everyone, for the past 5000 miles I have been using a Currie Antirock in place of my stock sway bar. Let me just say, it’s fantastic on road!
Here is my review of it, let me know if you have any questions.
Antirock
I own an ARB. It’s been great. I’ve had it a lot of rough places in the back of the jeep. Including hard rock crawling. If it was me I’d look at an ARB and Engel. This would be my only two options if I ever have to buy another one.
So after doing lots of research I decided to pull the trigger on an MORryde tire carrier and remove the one I have had for the last 5 years. I must say this kit is amazing! However I found out some great information from this install.
I wanted to share that with this system if you have a...
That looks really good! I keep finding my self gravitating towards a roof rack, but I just dont like the idea of the weight up top. I drive a TJ on 35" tires so its short and tall lol.
Yea it’s very expensive I agree. The idea i think would work with any drawer though. I bought it only because I wanted something that was designed to handle a backseat mounted to it. Thank you too! I really do like that case setup. Makes me wish I had a roof rack.
That’s a pretty good idea for recovery gear! The issue I have is that my jeep doesn’t have a roof rack for that kind of storage or mug interior space. I just dislike containers of stuff rolling around the inside. Trying to minimize and organize.
Thank you! It did take a while to cut all the tool slots out. The reason I used a soldering iron instead of a razor blade is because the soldering irons cuts way cleaner.
