    Camp Stove

You would link it w/ something called a Luna satellite burner, and then pair it w/ any jet boil cup, pan, etc... -Chris

SW Region - Meet Up Planning - Consolidated Thread

No, no, and I've been to the Dons Ana range complex for work, but that's it. I've got 4 kids, all boys (ages 8,5,3 & 1), the 2 older ones like to explore with me. Maybe we can set something up next weekend.

I hear there's a place called "The Wall" on the west side. Supopsed to be good for light off roading. Ever been? -Chris

OBSW Trip to the Jemez Mountains in NM.

It was a great time, definitely need to do more planning on my part. Driving 6+ hours the first day, and the kids being antsy sorta put a damper on running the whole trail. That said, it was a nice trip to the Jimez. I vote for the Gila Forrest for the next trip/camp out. Thoughts? -Chris

OBSW Trip to the Jemez Mountains in NM.

I'm camping Friday, appears to be at the grid that Mike (Smidee) posted. Would check w/ him but I imagine we will break down camp and meet you all on SAT for the trail run. -Chris

OBSW Trip to the Jemez Mountains in NM.

What are the chances we can check out the San Antonio hot spings during the route? I've read a lot about that place. -Chris

Dan, sounds good. Let me know as my kids will be excited to hear there will be other little ones out there. I actually have 4 boys, but the 3 and 1 year old will be staying home w/ my wife. Hopefully you can make it! -Chris

OBSW Trip to the Jemez Mountains in NM.

Was planning on the big bend trip this weekend but the Army had other plans, that said, this shorter trip will still allow me to get out and take my 8 and 5 year old sons w/ me. I RSVPd on the rally point, but was curious if anyone else is camping Friday or Saturday night. My kiddos have...

    2012 Xterra Pro4-X mild build

Great build so far! Sadly, I just sold my pro-4. Got a 4-runner last week though I do miss the pro-4. It felt more planted to the road, acceleration was better and the random storage areas are also missed. No regrets on my decision but I still enjoy watching others build theirs up. I am...

    Doc's '17 T4R build

In a perfect world, I would be able to tie it down in a more vertical fashion as there are small slits for the tie down to secure w/out compromising the seal. However, my current solution appears to secure it while still allowing the proper seal, as the strap is very thin. Eventually I'll work...

    OB SouthWest rendezvous

I'm in El Paso and might be able to join you guys that first weekend in SEP. I' think I'm only about 3.5 hrs west of BB. I'll let you know as it gets a little closer and I clear this w/ the boss (wife). If anything, I may bring my 8 year old son along for the trip. -Chris

    OB SouthWest rendezvous

Though not specific as requested, I'm all for something in NM, perhaps trails through a few of the national forests, something similar to the enchanted rockies trail. -Chris

    Camp Stove

I use the Eureka 2 burner, a partner of JetBoil. Stove has the ability to link up w/ other Eureka stoves off the same propane, or the ability to link up w/ a smaller jet boil, again while sharing the same fuel source. I selected this stove over campchef and coleman as this had the best rated...
