That looks pretty good Robert! I like how it attaches to the roof as well as the bumper, I'm sure that adds good stability.

I just found a local overland shop that rents rtt's, the wife and I are planning a kid free trip in March, maybe I'll rent a tent and we can give it a go.

Great thread, I want a rtt, the wife isn't convinced. Our biggest conversation at the moment is camping with dogs, we have 3, they sleep in the tent when we camp. Anyone have experience with dogs in a rtt? Seems like something from a bad comedy.

Once upon a time I would play cribbage or Kubb. Now I just keep track of my kid. Not complaining though, he can pretty entertaining.

@HangryMachinist thanks man, the file is a good deal, the cad drawings are spot on, the bumper design is pretty good, but not the best one I've seen. I'm going to make a few changes, but nothing major. I wish I had continued with drafting after high school, I'd love to be able to make some changes.

@grantwilson ive got some of the same lights to install in my hatch, I hooked them up to a power source for a few minutes and noticed they got pretty hot, have you had any issues?

Got this one from @Wolvee, replace the bulbs in your dome lights with led bulbs. It's life changing. They're on Amazon, bulb number will change by application though. Great thread @stringtwelve!

im wondering if maybe some Overland Bound expedition flags could be in the shops future? Just like a simple nylon banner with the OB logo on it? Something we could take out to remote places where maybe you couldn't take your vehicle like a mountain peak or the North Pole. Just an idea.
