What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

This is how the truck is set up 5 days a week, so it will help on bad weather days, so I can stay out of the rain if need be to remove wheels.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

With a sustained 10mpg wind, with gusts of 15-20, by myself it took about 3 minutes to get the awning out, and another 4-5 minutes to get the room unpacked and mounted to the awning. The awning was fine in the wind until that gust of 20mph wind, and started to lift, so I put 2 stakes, and it was...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

It is the ARB 2500 awning and their room add on. Walls on all 4 sides, floor and ceiling. Great setup, I'll be using it for a hang out room, as my rtt is comfy, and the wife likes sleeping off the ground lol. I'll attach some photos of inside. All 3 faces showing have screen doors the side on...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Spent the day welding on brackets and getting the new awning mounted to the truck. Glad I went with the 8 foot one. Sets up super easy and so does the room.

The van is being used for the parts, he's in the middle of building a new one and will be swapping all his stuff over to the new shell. It's a euro import syncro with all the goodies and a tdi swap from a 2012 I believe...

    Camp Photos!

We showed up about midnight to this location, set up camp and went to sleep. Woke up and realised just how close we were to the edge, thought it was just a small hill, ended up being about 200 ft drop off. Woops!

    Greetings from Graham WA!

Love it so far, I use it for work, I own a wheel repair business, so it's towing a trailer 5 days a week and is my fun rig on the weekends. 7 months and 14k miles it's been great so far. Love this little diesel engine.

I had a 69 for a long while, I ended up wiring the entire bus front to back because of almost the same issues. There are a lot of great vw people in the pnw. My good friend currently has a vanagon that's decked out.
