    Fuel Can Mounting

Lintnercorey I never have seen mounts for them gas jugs. But my buddy bought four so we made two mounts holding two each for his jk and there great. I wish I had done the same before I did my set mine up with Nato cans. Nato cans suck, they don't pour the gas in, it gulps in. Look what I did to...

    Fuel Can Mounting

Good choice on the fenders. I mount mine on the metal cloak bumper, made my own mounts. I've wondered many times. If one is going to go threw all that to fill them and get the fuel in the jeep and lift them up and down. Why not put a fuel cell or something up there besides cans? Hook a little...

Here's the photos of the Aussie gold nuggets. The one in lower right I found in the groom creek az area. Not so good of a photo. Now that it's digital you folks can do more with it. So yeah I double wish I could go to Austrilla.

He's been doing it all over the world his whole life and won't tell me anything. And when we were kids he had a small army out there digging and he even keep all that gold. He's on his last leg now so after posting the comment i called my mom and my aunt is going to get the pictures of the ones...

    Skid plate bushing/ spacer

Welp, there's a new one on me. Skid plate squeaking? Should be bolted on solid as a rock. Maybe the bolts are a smidgen to long? If it's an after market that's possible? But I've never crawled under a Yota to look (yet :} ). I'll bet ya it drives ya nuts tho.

    Metal Detecting

I wish I could get to Australia. My uncle found 3 nuggets the size of your foot. The gold is unique, all poresh and wirey. The placer deposit are almost completely exposed by wind not water. So the big deal is to find a piece that resembles something and could be put directly into a setting...

    Arizona Overlanders

When you get to CK keep going up to Horse Thief Lake to camp over night. It's only like 6 or so miles more of off road and worth it. Much nicer than camping around CK. And if you don't want to use the sites by the lake there some primitive ones just a mile or so past the lake towards the summit...

Anyone interested in overland trauma/1st aid training?

Don't get discouraged in wanting to share what you know on first aid Steve. Maybe consider making some videos and hook up with the OB Leaders and work together to put something together for the OB folks to view. If there serious they'll find someone to practice on. The dog makes for a good...

    Where do I start?

A good pair of sunglasses and a bag of sunflower seeds is about it for me. I would only add that's there is a lot to do while out exploring that you may become interested in. Other than just challenging your jeep. So build the jeepy for what ever becomes your gig.

    Overland Safety: First-Aid Kits

Last trip my buddy and I were talking about our health issues around the camp fire. And what we had in our our medical kits. And what could happen. We came to the conclusion that the one thing we were missing is a portable defibrillator! Face it some of are getting old. And to have the big one...

    Camo netting for shade

There's a material sold in most gardening shops that's a mesh comes in green. I used it to make 2 to 4 man canopy's. Just big enough to get our lawn chairs and a cooler under. I used them when I use to volunteer for the Big Horn Sheep counts in the Anza Borrego. The hot air escapes and the wind...

    Unofficial OB Desert Rally!

Sometimes I hate the Grand Canyon. Every time I want to head north out of here I have to do the massive hole in the ground detour. The canyon really goes from Vegas to Page. The park is just a little bit of it. I'm going to try and find someone who wants to ride along and split the detour cost...
