    Nothing wrong with ground camping, im still do it. Can't see the benefits of roof top tent right know, at least for now. There are many brands, style, prices. There is a roof tent for everyone, almost everyone. Like I said before, go out, meet other, talk to others in the trail, there is plenty of info out there to make your head spin, just be wise.

    That 4Runner off road is a beast in stock form, have fun!

    Forgot, get recovery gear, compressor, tire deflator, if you haven't already get the License (permit) for GMRS radio. Get some max trax or equivalent boards, axe, shovel, trash bag......this litle things make the weekend more fun, safe and more capable.
