If you're making another take out run and need parking, I live right behind those 2 Chinese restaurants. Private off street parking, with enough room for my rig, the GF's A3, and the 170 Sprinter I occasionally drive for work. Plenty 'o room for another 80 back there!

Need Feedback - New Regional Overland Bound Patches

As @Maverick911OE stated, "Maybe have a separate member tab you can get with your member number as its own patch." might be the best/most cost effective way. Aside from the variations in the region designs, the patch embroidery would be a standard production design. A tab/rocker is an easy...

Island of the Overland Beasts. See also: Iceland.

As a Christmas present, my girlfriend set up a trip to Iceland. She's really into Norse/Viking history, and I've always wanted to go there, so she made it happen. I knew going in that we'd be limited in areas we could access, since road conditions are entirely dependent on weather. Unlike the OB...

    Mountain biking

The most important thing you should do when considering a (new) bike, is develop a good relationship with your local bike shop (LBS). Whether you purchase from the LBS or not, having that relationship will be an invaluable asset in developing your knowledge & skills. Also, try to avoid...

    Overland Safety: First-Aid Kits

You can have all the equipment in the world, but without proper training it's useless. Training is the best piece of First-aid equipment you could ever get! After my deployment, I started building out my kits to mimic what we carried in our rigs. The primary purpose was to stabilize/maintain...
