I got an MS 170 from my grandpa (not the biggest, but heck it's free right?), and after a little bit of sharpening and figuring out how to start the thing, it's ready to roll! I'm pretty new to using a chainsaw, but I've made sure to get enough PPE and instruction on how to use it. I'll have...

Woods makes a spray with it, works really well, but smells kinda like toffee oddly enough...

That's on the list for next summer, I'm going to (hopefully) go up to Prudhoe Bay, but I'm definitely going to Anchorage at least. Not sure if you guys have heard of this, but you can get bug spray with picaridin in it, which is like DEET but doesn't smell bad. Works really damn well.
