What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Swapped out my camshaft position solenoid this morning, and cleaned the throttle body. Butt-dyno says it's definitely a bit smoother at idle, and definitely smoother on acceleration now.

Just a couple of improvements to my 2004 TJ Rubicon this past weekend (with the help of my brother):

Teraflex 1” body lift;
Brown Dog 1” rise engine mounts;
Teraflex BellyUp skid plate with Rubicon compressor mount;
Novak transfer case shifter cable assembly;
Metalcloak rear upper and lower control arms;
Metalcloak JK DuroSpring jounce bumpers (front bumpers in the rear cups).

This weekend having the NV-3550 5-spd trans rebuilt.

Following the trans rebuild, replacing the radiator. 15 years on the oem plastic tank, a little preventive maintenance after watching Michael’s YouTube video when his radiator Code 3’d itself on the trail.

Pictures or it didn't happen!

Took a small anglegrinder to the 14 small remaining screws that were left after I removed the roofrails a while back.

I also covered up the exposed metal with some paint and am planning on getting the roof resprayed either gloss or matt black next year as I also want to remove the antenna and weld that hole shut and fit a couple strips of aluminium to where the roofrails used to be.

I want a cleaner look to my car as I want it to be different from all the other 1st generation Hyundai Tucsons on the road.
