Hello Overlanders,
Steve Brown from SilverSpring, MD here. I have been a camper since I was 2 yrs old. We camped in National Forest or State Park campgrounds. My brother and I have just started exploring the Overland camping in our XJ's. I look forward to meeting experienced Overland campers, so we can learn how and where to Overland travel and camp in the Mid Atlantic Area

Hello All,

Location: Buffalo, NY

Rig: 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimimited (recently replaced my 2010 Xterra)

Experience: I would say I am a novice in what I think of as overlanding. I have been using my vehicle in one capacity or another for outdoor adventure for quite some time, and have been inspired to take it to the next level

Welcome, Chris (@vashonz), to Overland Bound! Bend is a great area with easy access to the green and the brown sides of the state, so I am sure that you will find lots of great places to put your CVT to use. I highly recommend checking out these threads for ideas [link] and [link]. Of course you can also make contact with your local Overland Bound members in the US NorthWest Region [link], as they may have ideas. You can also attend a meetup or event in your area as they come up and take a look at what other members are doing. Our meetups and events are posted on the Rally Point System [link] so keep an eye on that as well. If you don't mind the drive, there is a meetup coming up in March located in Alsea [link].

I hope you find what you are looking for and that I get a chance to meet you in the future. Until then, if you need anything, please feel free to contact me on the forums @Jedi
