Last summer build this little off-road trailer. 30 days working late nights after work. I designed it to be able to carry also my off-road bike under the tent. I attached a "cooking area" on the right, where the solar panel electronics are.

A solar panel 120w, feeds two deep cycle AGM batteries. Inside for this trip we carry our Dometic dual temperature refrigerator and our traeger grill. Both running out of the deep cycle batteries. We had plenty of power to cook with the grill for hours while having fresh food and even ice cream in the refrigerator. The dometic refrigerator was able to run 3 days no problem from the batteries with the daily recharge from our solar panel. So that was a good test of our off the grid capabilities.

The entire trailers weight less than 800 pounds, and the Jeep Wrangler has no issue pulling it. It is narrow enough to make it thru most places and light enough that can be moved by hand if needed.

These photos are from this weekend camping trip with the family to Barview Jetty, in the Oregon Coast.

Looks like a great trailer! I just took my trailer out for our first outing as well!

I do worry some about the height of the tent. It is relatively heavy and extended up pretty good. On some trails your Jeep wouldn't think twice about, that might get a bit tippy

It was really stable and I was extremely nervous for the first 500 miles but we took a trip that was a total of 2800 miles and not one issue.
