We didn't get a total eclipse in Concord, CA.
Still makes for an interesting shot through the clouds, though.

80% in a cardboard box, which was peak here in northern Ohio. Another longer duration, wider path total eclipse crosses the US from Texas to Maine in just 7 years. So much for all the "once in a lifetime" hype... The next one passes within two miles of my house.
That makes it nice. We live right on the path of this one. Traffic here is a mess now, though. We had planned on not going anywhere today, but Rhonda is making BBQ sauce, and realized she forgot an ingredient. Took her 45 minutes to go 7 miles into town.

We were in Torington Wyoming. Had a great spot for just the family up on the hill at the cemetery. (The undeveloped part so no standing on dead people).
One thing I had never heard of was the 360° sun set.
We had a great time with a not full family reunion. Had family there from three states.
