What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

The propane tank looks a little scary hanging off the side like that to me, hope it doesn't give you any issues.

It's on pretty good. The bracket I'm using are the same that hold my awning.

I built a steel top for my work bench and started breaking down my 4l80e in preparation for the stage 3 rebuild and shift kit.

This summer I'm going to replace my th350 3 speed trans with it along with a 203/205 doubler.

I have an extensive build thread "70 K20 Suburban" if interested.

Jet engine(SAI) in the Rover finally died, swapped it with a used one I found on ebay....I think most of Land Rover parts are there just to throw CELs, perfect parts sales marketing campaign HAHA

In preparation for Overland Expo and Prudhoe Bay, I dropped the Jeep off at Linville Brothers in Sacramento today for:

New tires and rims
New coil springs (4)
New shocks (4)
New left front hub assembly
New ball joints
New pitman arms
New longer brake lines
New lower control arms
New upper control arm bushings

They PROMISED it back by Tuesday afternoon. #CuttingItClose

Also ordered a snorkel and 6 "ARB Rip-Off" lights...

The money I saved on Sufe vs ARB paid for everything listed above :-)

I finished the down and inspection and ordered parts for my 4l80e rebuild. It actually looked great inside, I'll bet it had another 50k miles or more left in it.

Man there are a lot of parts in an automatic transmission!

You're a brave man to rebuild an automatic transmission on your own. Best of luck with it!

Took my Jeep in for an oil change and was informed my PCV elbow was broken. Rather then pay them $40 to replace it, I swung by Autozone and $5 and 5 minutes later all good.
