Rally Point Details:
We will be exploring many of the amazing trails throughout the San Rafael Swell and surrounding areas in central Utah. This will cover approx.. 350 miles of dirt, and be an entirely off-grid trip with very limited access to to services.
There will be very mixed terrain ranging from maintained dirt/gravel up to unmaintained and challenging 4x4 trails requiring an adequately modified overland rig. We will be in very remote areas of the region. This will be a true overland trip, with movement each day ranging from 50-100 off-road miles.
BE ADVISED: There is a tunnel section with a height of only 7'2". If your vehicle is taller than this, or too wide (full size) to pass through, you will be forced to take an alternate route in two places.
In the interests of group safety, adequate preparedness and proper equipment will be required, and will be confirmed prior to participants being included on the trip. Trip plan to be provided to those that can confirm attendance and minimum equipment/safety requirements. Trip plan will include detailed tracks for each day of travel, meal assignments, campsites, etc...
Rally Point Lat/Long is for regional proximity, and first camp will be provided well in advance.
