Snake Lake camping trip

Hey folks! I have a trip coming up to the Gold Lake area. We will set up camp at gold lake and then go explore the many trails and small lakes that this beautiful area offers. Bring all that new recovery gear that you have not used yet and join for a friendly training session June 11th and 12th.

Rally Point Details:

We will meet at Downieville at 7 am on Saturday and go as a group from there. second rally point is the gas station at Basset where Gold Lake highway and Hwy 49 meet; at this point we can re-fuel but be prepared to pay a pretty penny for gas. We will then take a short drive up the road towards Gold Lake, get your cameras ready for awesome pictures of the mountain peaks on this short drive. You will need a High clearance vehicle with good AT tires, winch, and HAM radio or gmrs. This is a family trip for those who would want to do more than fire roads and start conquering small rocky obstacles.
We will arrive early Saturday June 11th in the morning and
be done Sunday June the 12 in the afternoon.
Pack it in-Pack it out!!! no waste of any kind left behind.
