Rally Point Details:
Two-day weekend in the Pinelands with Garden State Overland, a (potential) seasonal series we are calling "Lost in the Pines."
1. All communications will be done with FRS/GMRS Radios. A cheap set can be bought from Midland for as low as $40
2. Please make sure you have at least 2 solid recovery points, 1 in the front and 1 in the rear. We HOPE to never use these but you never know.
3. Have no expectations. This trip will have no route to follow, we will be "winging it" for a lack of a better term. We could end up far south or far north, it's all about where the wind blows and how the roads are.
4. Bring trash bags and gloves. Every trail ride is a trail cleanup with us. Unfortunately, we have to pick up after those who are unwilling to do so. Expect to leave with more trash than you came in with.
5. Camping is available. If you are interested in camping (Friday Night and/or Saturday Night) Please shoot Ian McAdorey a message and he will get you the details on the campground.
6. This is a multi-day event. Both Saturday and Sunday morning meet spots will be at Carranza Memorial.
7. We do not plan on traveling the same path or routes on either day, we will try our best to keep two completely separate routes.
If you have any questions post them in the discussion so we can answer them publically for everyone to see so we can limit repeat questions or confusion.
