Inland Northwest MEGs #4 Roman Nose Meet Eat Greet and Sleep

Come for a meet and greet!
Stay for the night.

Roman nose is an easy drive that all rigs can make it to.
There are more difficult tracks to the top if you want.

Super family friendly camping.
The camp is near the lower of three lakes and there is a loop trail that will take you to 2 additional lakes.
I have heard that these are stocked so bring your fishing gear and catch some dinner.

Rally Point Details:

GPS file is attached to the Rally point.
Communications will be Ham, FRS or GMRS.

This is an easy run and I can not leave Sandpoint until somewhere between 2 and 4.
From the highway it will take about an hour to reach Roman Nose
If you would like to meet up with others to drive in let's talk about that in the form thread.

Roman Nose is a beautiful spot to spend the day with your family and at altitude should get you out of the heat we are having too.

Required:
Navigation capabilities - You must be able to follow the posted GPS track.

Communications - You must be able to communicate using HAM, FRS or GMRS.

Covid Safety - In general Overlanding is a safe activity, however I will be requesting anyone coming close to me be vaccinated or wear a mask and be respectful of anyone else who request the same.

If you currently not have communication or navigation capabilities let me know.
I have radios to lend to a few people. I can also recommend a good radio if you want to purchase one.
I also have a navigation solution using your phone.

We can work something out, but you need to be able to talk to the group and follow the gps track.
