Greetings SOTA Folks!
Pacific Northwest SOTA will have a VIRTUAL GATHERING on Thursday, May 20 at 630pm Pacific Time (Zoom link below). We are inviting the SOTA-interested from Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia.
The event will be hosted by Ken-KI7VEM and presented by Darryl-WW7D, Roland-K7FOP and Etienne-K7ATN. Presentations will cover care and feeding of Chasers, what equipment experienced Activators use, the upcoming VHF Contest, and - - Your Questions!
We should be on by 6:15pm if you want to make sure that Zoom is working for you. We'll wrap things up around 8pm Pacific.
When you launch Zoom (details below) please change your name label (it is with your thumbnail image) to "NAME+CALLSIGN". Please mute your audio -- use headsets or phone ear buds to keep down echos. Internet Explorer does not work well with Zoom --- use Chrome or Firefox or maybe Edge. You can type your questions and comments using the chat feature. Slides should eventually be available in the downloads section of http://www.pnwsota.org/.
