Rally Point Details:
We will meet up at Immegrant Springs Park Picnic area at 9:30 Pacific Time. Convoy will roll out at 10:00 hours eastbound on I-84 to MT Emily Summit Road (exit 243). On summit Road we will head north to OR 204 Elgin Westin Highway where we will break and go our separate ways at the Andes Snow Park.
Lunch Time will be determined by the group.
Its fire season guys, so the only requirements I have for gear on this trip is fire suppression gear. Shovel, axe, 1 gallon of water (minimum) and a 5#ABC fire extinguisher.
the trail is rough in spots, but doable in a passenger car this time of year. So I would rate it as easy and very family friendly. There are lots of trails off the main road to explore should we decide to do a bit of a detour.
as always, all are welcome to join, member or not. Since this is a trail run, I’m not going to put a limit on the size of the group. If we get 10 or more rigs we will split into groups of 5 rigs to try and keep dust down and to keep the sizes down at rest stops.
