Lake District Half Term Flash Meet

It's half term week for most of the UK so it's a great opportunity to meet up and explore the beautiful Lake Dristrict area of England. We will arrange some laning and local exploring and base ourselves from the same campsite fr all three days.

Come for the day, a night or the whole trip. It really does not matter.

Leann and I will arrive in the morning of the Friday and will leave Sunday aorund lunchtime.

Rally Point Details:

You do not need to book the camping. You can simply turn up and someone will come around to collect money as applicable.

Stonethwaite Farm, Borrowdale, Keswick, Cumbria CA12 5XG, 017687 77234.

The campsite has LIMITED facilities. There are no shower nor electric hookup. Toilets, waste disposal and water are about it.

Off the ground firepits are ALLOWED - Please bring your own wood.

If you are travelling north or south on the M6 take the turn off Junction 40 (Penrith) and head west for Keswick on the A66. When you approach Keswick take the second turn of which is a (large roundabout) take the first exit at the roundabout into Keswick stay on this road until you come to a stop junction. At this junction turn left for about half a mile until you come to a mini roundabout, take a right turn and stay on this road all the way to Stonethwaite, passing through Rosthwaite, then look for a left turn sign posted Stonethwaite.
