After a year and a half of full time overlanding, living out of my rig and traveling the western half of the United States and The Sierras for work, my big adventure has settled in the Milwaukee area. I am back at home with my family with a new job and career path. I’m excited to explore the Wisconsin area and find new friends and adventures.
Hi everyone! As some of you know, we are in the process of a major technical upgrade. There is a new version Overland Bound One in the app stores, and I recommend updating your app to this version. We knocked out edge case bugs and improved loading times.

If you're reading this, please know I'm grateful for your patience while we move the project forward. Big thanks to Steve, Michael and Craig for leading the development charge, and to Kent, Jim and Bjoern for passing on bugs.

Onward!
Dave,

Dara and I had a great time at the meet and greet/trip planning event last night. Here is the link to the Range to Ranch event. I wasn't sure where to post it so I thought I would send it to you and let you do it.

Range to Ranch

Thanks,
Dave K

Thank you! It was a pleasure meeting you and the group. We are looking forward to all the great adventures.
Just checking in after a rough few weeks and slowly getting back to activity after a heart attack on Dec 21, 2025. I managed to write a blog post, one-handed, a few days after the "event" to let everyone know I'm still kicking. And I just got my tickets for the Moore Expo in Springfield, MO, for April 2026.

Looking forward to wilderness adventures, open roads and a new 14’er to hike this summer. What are your plans for 2026?

My plans are to slow down, be a better listener, and explore the Nevada desert with my husband. :)

Great plan! Nevada has some interesting ghost towns, along with the very cool Great Basin National Park. Have a fabulous year!
Back at home after adding all 3 Florida national parks and a few new birds to my Life List. Here’s wising everyone at OB a wonderful, magical holiday season! (And cool travel gifts, too.)
It’s been a while since I checked in last. Been having more health issues but made some day trips and one crazy trip with my father in law to “hunt” Bigfoot. Took “Elvira - The Element” in places we shouldn’t have, but managed to get back out safety.
Wish everyone a fabulous season!
