One more week to enjoy Colorado before pointing the 4Runner east and making the long drive home. Scraped ice off the windshield the last two mornings and had to wear socks with my Chacos while cooking breakfast. Winter is coming…

Good morning! It’s been a while. All is well and excited today to replace front struts on Elvira. The noise and drivability has been way over normal.
Heading north of Lake City, CO after 4 days near Rio Grande Reservoir in Rio Grand National Forest. Enjoyed Cinnamon Pass and Stony Pass yesterday in the Tundra.

The June 19 Green Creek/ Kavenaugh Ridge / Dunderberg meadow trip was good fun, good food. Lotsa laughs, great trails and scenery. Thanks to all who attended with a special thanks to Derek and his wife for arriving early and staking out an alternate site when our planned site was occupied. Cheers!
