Whats below a rookie? That's where I'm starting in night sky photography

Tons of great advice in this thread. My only add is if you are fortunate enough to live near a 'dark sky' area (i.e. Nevada has one outside of Tonapah), you'll find light pollution is near zero and the sky...well all I can say is -Wow.
