What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

The shop installing them, will be inspecting my rotor shield, he thinks it may be bent and causing a thin tick sound when I turn the wheel.
IMO take those off and toss them in the trash. I'd frequently get rocks stuck between the shield and the rotor, causing some really bad sounds... until I disposed of them.

Well, since you axed, and it was my birthday, and I ain't getting any younger, and there was just too much money in my checking account:tearsofjoy:, etc., etc. I bought another boat. Because living around all this water, two were simply not filling all the niches. So now I have three boats and three trucks, two tractors, about fifty rods and reels, and other stuff requiring maintenance, batteries, fuel, cleaning. So that keeps the old man off the skreets. Looking forward to a trip to Outer Banks, NC if they are still there this Fall.Gheenoe.jpg

What, no camper? :grinning:

Something small, I know, but a 250th inspired Yeti 18 oz with chug cap.

I love my Nalgenes but they dont fit into my truck cup holders.

Next on my list? I've been looking into better coolers than my 52 qt Coleman old standards. I saw a Yeti in Vine on sale, but dis not take it. Instead I started researching and then thought about Rtic, then Lifetime.

Then I stumbled on Pelican. 30 or 50 qt.

As rugged as Yeti and Rtic, but all with a fish ruler and cup holders molded into the lids. And bottle opener, and threaded drain, and it just seems to do everything all the others do combined, for less money, and made in USA. Dont know if anyone has experience with them?

During my recent Wyoming trip, I was missing having awnings on both sides of the teardrop. I found the aluminum cover ARB unit with light for $30 less than the vinyl cover version. The bezos special moved back to the street side. the vinyl cover ARB unit is laying on the rack. It’s installed via quick release brackets to the truck when traveling.

Looking good! You coming to the Avid Outdoor Expo this year? If so I’ll have to check out the trailer and upgrades you have been making. We just placed an order for our trailer last week.

I’ll be there, fingers crossed. We had to skip last year because of the hound’s rattlesnake bites.

I remember. Looking forward to seeing you there. We should be there the night before and setup camp.

I bought (without the wifes knowledge) an ARB portable double air compressor. I havent tried it out yet. I bought the ARB compressor which was to be mounted in the car years ago but i couldnt find anyone to fit it for me. I'll need to sell it now at a loss no doubt.AR-CKMTP12-CA.jpg

Picked up this 2023 Rove Lite 14FL over the weekend. It's my "unofficial" 65th birthday present. At only 1846 lbs dry, even the Bronco Sport can tow it.

Picked myself up a 2026 Encore RǒG 12BHSS around the holidays. Been able to get it out for a single night of testing and the 3rd gen 4Runners towed it without any issues.
