Hey, At least you can fab something up. and the bumper is just a bolt on thing. With the pat it's a gigantic peice of plastic. Terrible. but I have to work with what I have right now. I would love to be able to just remove one steel bumper and install something I fabbed up in the shop. Just don't work on the little rig.

I have that Icom in both of my rigs. If you haven’t sprung for the extension cables, you can do those for much cheaper by use straight thru, not crossover, 6 and 8 conductor data cables to place the radio, faceplate, and microphone wherever you want to.

I bought this thing last Spring, one of those a friend of a friend things, for $5K. The intent was to fix it up and just daily it so I didn't have to drive the Tacoma. Well that went out the window
