What did you name your rig?

Rigs have to have a personality to get named. I've had dozens that are just "the truck" or "that damn thing," "goddamn POS Toyota," only a few that have been named. I had an ancient Fuego (remember those French oddities?) that was "PJ," a ZJ named "Nadine," and my Bus who is "Aphroducky."

Hadn't thought of that! Grover was to be named 'Escargot' but a family member started calling him 'Grover' and it stuck. Figured Escargot would be a good name since they are slow and can go anywhere, just like a snail.

Our son names our rigs. My JK is Annie....the ANVIL Jeep. and the Patriot is....well.....patriot because it says so on the door!

Love the bus. We are wanting one of those REAL BAD. Almost made a play on a transporter I was going to convert into a westy but it was gone before I dropped the hammer.

Thanks, it definitely is a labor of love :).
Prices are dropping because of the economy tanking, might still find a decent deal out there.

Named my truck "Serenity". Ain't the most well endowed rig in the verse, but she'll surprise you.

I don't get the naming trend. I think everyone in the local Jeep Club has a nickname for their Jeep that they fell the need to emblazon upon the hood of said Jeep. Mine is just "The Jeep" or a long line of expletives when I'm working on it.

No doubt. For me, the naming thing is personal. It helps anchor the work and love I put in.

I named my 08 Wrangler REDBAG. Bit of a long story but I'm usually the guy who has what you need in a pinch so now I'm RedBag lol

So we started calling it "Quite the Rig."
Or "Quite" for short.
