What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Got super awesome gas mileage while driving down a mountain in New Mexico from Taos.

Mounted 3/4" led marker lights to replace the old cheap interior lights which failed after 4 years of use. The new lights mount into 1" aluminum stock that I drilled 3/4" holes in for the lights and mounted to the roof supports with m4 cap screws. Looks relatively clean, works decent, and the lights are a readily replaceable form factor at most decent truck stops.

Finished my "kitchen table" which plugs into my 1 1/4" secondary hitch receiver on my left side swing out. Hacked-up Amazon UTV cargo basket, an old street sign, and some welding..

Now I don't have to carry a folding table inside this tiny rig, and can also carry more firewood out to the camp than would previously fit in my trasheroo.

I made triple sure they were locked for the night. I was in a meeting early afternoon when a neighbor called to say the house 3 doors down had their vehicle broken into & burglarized. I came home to have lunch and another neighbor told me a guy 1/2 block away had his new Super Duty stolen from his driveway, This all happened between 11:30 pm & 5 am!

Took the Collie in so I could have one of the tires repaired which got a nail in it. First issue was the can't fix it because it's too close to the sidewall so it needs to be replaced. Problem is they no longer make the ones they sold me just a year ago, so I need a different one. To their credit, they are willing to honor the warranty with a different, but similiar one for free. But wait, it gets better. They broke one of the studs off removing the wheel and that now needs to be fixed too.

Drove it to work, since the battery in my daily decided to crap the bed yesterday, and won't hold a charge. I don't have money to replace it quite yet, so I'm driving the X until I do.

Started removing interior door, passenger and cargo panels from the 55 Willy’s Wagon.
