What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

This weekend I was able to get Raptor lights installed on “Mauka” my 2023 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X. It’s a small thing but I am taking “baby steps” as the budget allows!

A little putty, and a little paint, and we’ll turn this rig into something it ain’t. Slowly getting the 4Runner looking presentable. It’s really pretty straight for an almost 40 year old vehicle. Just some minor dings, and 1 rust spot. The worst panel was the driver side fender. But I had a nice used replacement that was easier than repairing the old one.

Looking good! Can't wait to see it finished!

I added a new scar to the front differential, and had a good day in the Dale Mining District with Canyon Cliff!

Peddle commander.

Was it worth it? Hell yes, this is not to add horsepower but to the response time of fuel and peddle. From eco mode to sport+ +4 I am in love with my FJ again.

Did the exhaust manifolds on my Ram. Drivers side around 6 hours passenger side 2 hours. Drivers side the bolt heads had a bit for rusting issues and the sockets i had access to at the shop were a bit worn out. 2 broken studs required welding on each side.
drivers side sucked royally passenger side I didn't even break a sweat. Did drivers on Saturday and passenger side yesterday no more ticking. replaced the oem manifolds with oem manifold that a guy I know pulled off then I sanded them flat gotta love warped manifolds

Back into the shop. I re did the seam sealer in the drip rails. Some rust, but not that bad. Hopefully this will last as long as the original, since I don’t want to do that again. Thi pictures are of different spots, but show before, during, and after.

It’s almost ready for paint, I just need to detrim and prep. Hopefully next week.
