After doing the viper cut, installing a winch and bumper on my T4R, I had no place for a front license plate. Sadly CA requires this so I finally re-installed in a relatively creative spot. No reason to give the highway patrol a reason to pull me over…

Been busy with the CJ2. Other than some maintenance items with the XJ and YJ most of my focus the last week as been on the CJ2 since I finally got my engine back from the shop.

I have to change wheel bearings about yearly.
Seams salt water / sand, mud and river crossings are tough on 'em.

Luckily it’s an easy swap out. Needed a new shaft so thought while I’m down there I may as well put a new one in. Now need new skid plate and rock sliders.

What I really did was get tired of the crappy hood finish. It looked like Daniel-san had done both wax on and wax off with a disc sander.

With masking pulled off.

Outside away from bird perches. I think a hood louver will be coming soon. Getting rid of heat like I did on thecopcar.

in the process, I’ve probably lost 59# plus added 200 miles of range.

I adjusted mine by closing it in the passenger door - ( it is installed on the hood )

Finished the electrical install. 1000w inverter. 100ah battery. 50ah DCDC charger. All to run my $37 electric blanket. :)

Putting the little CJ to work on some chores. Drove it to LOWES and picked up 400lbs of soil,plus some plumbing parts for the YJ's onboard water system, then by the local corn free gas dealer for 15 gallons (90 lbs) of regular. Plus toting my 215lb self around.

That's about 95lbs short of maximum payload. She drove great. Engine pulled great. Temps were perfect for no windshield driving.

Finalized the installation of the water rink and pump. 60 lt tank as water requirement in the desert is higher than expected. Mostly cooling down with mini showers.
