What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Replacing my front pinion seal and the breather tube for my transmission. Not very exciting, I know. I'll head up into the Mt. Hood area on Monday. Too many people out and about on the weekends.
Great idea. We usually try to do the same.

Ratchet Strap body work to rectify the bow in the front of the bed. At some point before I owned it, the bed rail at the front got bashed in so it almost touched the cab. Now it's nice and almost straight lolIMG_20220827_162506139.jpg

I also buzzed off as much of the rust from the bumper as I could and gave it a coat of paint.

Today was a good day, woke up early and did a viper cut on the Tacoma, that help until I can get a high clearance bumper which is next year‘s purchase but for now it was free and fun to do. Also attached straps on the tailgate so when we sleep in the bed of the truck I have an easier way to pull the tailgate closed..then a wash.. happy truck..

Finally managed to get my plano boxes mounted to the roof rack.

1/2in plywood inside the box, with 4 12mm bolts passing through the plywood and the box.

Keeping it simple, bled the brakes on the Rubicon LJ, replaced the door limiting strap. Blew out the radiator and transmission cooler with air, did a reprogram with the Banks AutoMind (set it to towing) as the performance 91 setting was to hot and it kept pinging.
